Report a scam email or text
Every message you send becomes a dated point on a family record: a new number, sender, subject line or wave. Personal data is removed before anything is published, and you see the redaction before you agree to it.
Paste it belowBest with headers: in Gmail open the message → ⋮ → Show original → copy all. Outlook: View message source.
Forward as an attachmentTo report@soft2secure.com. Attachment, not inline — that keeps the headers we need.
Text messagePaste the text and the sender number below. Then forward the text itself to 7726 (US/UK) to report it to your carrier.
What happens next
- Within a few days a person reads it and matches it to a family, or opens a new one.
- New indicators go on record with the month they were seen: the number, the sender, the domain. The check tool knows them from the next build.
- If you agreed to publication, the redacted text becomes a specimen on the family's timeline, sourced as "reader submission, month year". Never your name.
- If you lost money, this report does not replace a police or bank report. Report to the FTC, FBI IC3, Scamwatch or Action Fraud as well; the family record tells you which.
